Our trip to HAWAII!!

My younger brother and his wife had planned a trip to Hawaii months ago, and when they found out that Adam had vacation time during the same week, they invited us along. How could we say no?!
We all met in Hawaii, and enjoyed a kid-free week full of sun, sand, and relaxation on Kauai. We kayaked, hiked, body surfed, snorkeled, swam, shopped, and just plain had FUN!!

Adam's mom came to stay with the boys while we were there, and ended up staying for a whole month. We always enjoy her stays, and it even brought on a week long visit from 3 of Adam's siblings. It was great!

Kari's Spring

Trey was not the only one who was glad to see school end. No more alarm clocks is more my style! Time to cut the boys' hair nice and short, and stow away the winter clothes for next year!

Playgroup started as soon as the water park opened on Memorial day, and we try to get there twice a week. I've been busy at home getting garage sale items ready for sale, keeping up with the daily pile of mud-soaked boy clothes I find on the porch every afternoon, and trying to entertain 3 rambunctious boys!

Adam's spring

Adam graduated from Hutchinson Community College in May with an associates in Fire Science. Finally! He's been picking away at it for the 6-7 years he's been a firefighter. While he's beginning his bachelor program shortly, it was nice to have behind him!

I finally convinced Adam to get rid of the 2 trucks he's had for a while now (that weren't really what he wanted), and get something he really liked. He got a new truck that he can really enjoy - and we can all fit in!

Adam's busy now that the weather is nice with finishing his ongoing house project downtown, and the other contracting jobs he gets around town. He's also busy trying to help me keep up with the mowing! It's a neverending job.

Cameron's spring

Cameron was so happy to have his brothers home from school to play with him all day long again! He waited and waited and WAITED for the little toads to start coming out. They eventually did, and he couldn't be happier! The other night I went in the boys' room after they were asleep to put some clothes away and found a little toad he (or someone else who isn't fessing up) had smuggled in to have a sleepover!

Brettsky's Spring

Brett could go to school year-round and wouldn't care. But his last year at Preschool came to an end in middle May. He graduated a taller, more learned young man, and we couldn't have been prouder!

Treyton's Spring - finally!

Spring! A turn for the new. Getting up at 6:30am was getting really old! Trey had the longest days of any of us this winter: On the bus at 7:15am, and not home until 4:00pm. He's passing over into 2nd grade with flying colors and, of course, very good grades. The last few days of school were fun for him. He got to participate in the Buhler Grade Olympics! The meet was held in the afternoon, and included all of Buhler Grade students K-3rd grade. The program was complete with opening ceremonies, a presentation of nations to the olympic fanfare, announcers and even a gunshot start to the races. He ran the 50 and 100 meter dashes, and TOOK SECOND IN THE SOFTBALL THROW! We were so proud.
