Treyton attended his first Blue and Gold Banquet on February 10th at the First Congressional Church of Christ and receivede his Wolf badge. Good job on your hard work, buddy!! (And a pat on the back to me.)

Derby Time!!

Well, our little scout has finally reached the milestone of his first Pinewood Derby. He worked on his car all month, deciding on a shape, helping dad cut it out, sanding, puttying, sanding, and finally painting! I was so proud that he painted his whole car all by himself. And even more proud of Adam for letting him! The Derby was January 30, 2009 at the First Presbyterian Church.

There were 58 cars in all to be raced, and each car got to run 8 times. The first round took about an hour and a half! Trey's car just got faster and faster with each run down the track. Trey finished somewhere in the middle, but had so much fun that he felt good enough! He has worn his participation medal all over the place, even to bed.

We can't wait until next year!!
